Lucky for us Krista (owner of Ruby, aka Charly's mamma) is a great dog mom! She had Charly already crate trained to sleep at night...amazing. She sent us home with a giant bag of things we would need to care for Charly. Charly has adjusted to living with our family very well. Sometimes she can be very whiny when she is alone with Scott while he is working but she is adjusting to it. She hangs with Scott in the shed during the day and has backyard adventures while she waits for the kids to get home from school to play with her. We are still trying to potty train her and she is having accidents in the house but she is getting better. Fingers crossed she makes fast progress there. I have a couple of dog training books I need to try to read. For the most part it's been an easy adjustment, it's having to worry about what to do with her when we leave town that will be new and annoying. I found someone to watch her while we go to Mexico. Huzzah.
Work is whatever, it's up and down and all around. Ha. Teaching is a hard job, there's so many moving pieces constantly. There's always 10,000 things to do as well. Luckily there are a lot of good days to make the bad days more manageable.
Scott is liking his new position. I'm so glad he can work in the shed. It's nice to have a designated spot for him to be. SO NICE!
Nothing new with the kids. Piper joined dance again and is liking it. Gabby loves Charly on another level. Ryan has been moved back to his bed without a pull up. He has had a couple of accidents. If the accidents are a lot I will move him back to my room with the alarm pad again, or try the alarm pad in his room. Corbin has adjusted to High School fine and continues to be the most chill easy going kid ever.
