I didn't want to blog last week because I was tired and burned out. I have a lot going on right now and I'm feeling it. We didn't have school on Friday, the school district gives us a random Friday off in April, I think they know we need it. I have had a good long weekend and it has helped me recharge a bit. I gave myself my first IVF shot on Friday. I was freaked out but it wasn't bad at all. I start out slow with just one shot twice a week. I'm glad this shot is an easy one. In two weeks I will have to give myself a different shot everyday. That shot contains oil and can be more painful supposedly so we will see how that goes. I have weekly labs/and or ultrasounds until a few weeks after the embryo transfer. At that point we will see if I'm pregnant or not. I'm guessing they will continue to have weekly labs if I am pregnant. I will be glad when work is over and I won't have to worry as much about scheduling the appointments. I really hope the baby sticks on the first try.
I'm babysitting Gabe and Christy's kids for 8 days starting tomorrow. I mostly just need to pick them up from school, feed them and put them to bed. Christy has another caretaker to help in the mornings and help with Luke all day. It should be fine but I will be glad to check this off my mental list.
We are on a weird schedule with the kids trying to switch things around. I had them for 11 days and then Scott will have them for 11 days. I loved the extra days and wish I had them all the time. I'm glad I will be distracted with Gabe's family while my kids are gone for extra days. They seem to be doing well overall and have been able to roll with the divorce pretty well which is good.
5 more Mondays! I am super ready to be done with school. I'm anxious thinking about next year but we will worry about that another day.

This is my entryway where I put my seasonal décor but there aren't any holidays for a while. My friend Alison sent me a belated house warming gift card so I bought some everyday décor. I love it! |
