Update

I didn't want to blog last week because I was tired and burned out. I have a lot going on right now and I'm feeling it. We didn't have school on Friday, the school district gives us a random Friday off in April, I think they know we need it. I have had a good long weekend and it has helped me recharge a bit. I gave myself my first IVF shot on Friday. I was freaked out but it wasn't bad at all. I start out slow with just one shot twice a week. I'm glad this shot is an easy one. In two weeks I will have to give myself a different shot everyday. That shot contains oil and can be more painful supposedly so we will see how that goes. I have weekly labs/and or ultrasounds until a few weeks after the embryo transfer. At that point we will see if I'm pregnant or not. I'm guessing they will continue to have weekly labs if I am pregnant. I will be glad when work is over and I won't have to worry as much about scheduling the appointments. I really hope the baby sticks on the first try.

I'm babysitting Gabe and Christy's kids for 8 days starting tomorrow. I mostly just need to pick them up from school, feed them and put them to bed. Christy has another caretaker to help in the mornings and help with Luke all day. It should be fine but I will be glad to check this off my mental list.

We are on a weird schedule with the kids trying to switch things around. I had them for 11 days and then Scott will have them for 11 days. I loved the extra days and wish I had them all the time. I'm glad I will be distracted with Gabe's family while my kids are gone for extra days. They seem to be doing well overall and have been able to roll with the divorce pretty well which is good.

5 more Mondays! I am super ready to be done with school. I'm anxious thinking about next year but we will worry about that another day.

It's been so nice to be able to get out and play. Huzzah Spring.
This is my entryway where I put my seasonal décor but there aren't any holidays for a while. My friend Alison sent me a belated house warming gift card so I bought some everyday décor. I love it!

My first box of medical supplies. Oy!

Update

I don't have much to say about this last week. I'm starting to feel burned out at work and I need to pace myself for sure. 7 more Mondays! I finally got scheduled for my embryo transfer, May 9th, send all the good vibes the baby sticks! I will start shot injections in a few weeks. The medical schedule is intimidating. I'm sure I will get a swing of it. I was finally officially offered the Borah position. I don't like being in limbo land so I'm glad it's officially happening. I have already spent countless hours making copies of all of the Borah teacher's files. It will take me forever but it will be very helpful. Transitioning to 6 new preps will be a lot of work and any work I do now will save me later. I met with some teacher friends after work on Friday and some on Saturday. I like to try to plan something social when it's just me all weekend. Well, that's all! Here's a couple of pictures from our Disney World trip last year. Shanon and Roxanne (high school FCS teachers) invited me to go to persuade me to switch to high school. It worked out.

I guess Gabby and Piper got to meet the local winner of Survivor season 43 maybe? I don't know many details other than Gabby's friend texted me this pic so I'll post it. LOL
