I had my 7 week ultrasound on Monday. The baby is measuring on track and has a good heartbeat. I discovered I have a sub chorionic hematoma which is a collection of blood in the uterine cavity. I guess this can be very common with IVF pregnancies, it likely occurred during the embryo transfer. It is small and the doctor is not concerned yet but it's unsettling for me for sure. I can't exercise until my next appointment on the 24th. Fingers crossed it will have resolved itself by then which commonly happens.
I had the kids this past week and we went to Discovery park a lot. Corbin got a new mountain bike so he's been taking that out for bike rides. He joined Centennial's mountain biking team so that will be interesting. Gabe was the one that got him interested in it so hopefully he will take the lead on helping Corbin get to the races. He's been enjoying it a lot.
The door leading into the garage door has been having problems and I kept tightening the hinges but it wasn't working. I took the door down and rather than try to get help from one of my brothers Corbin and I went to Home Depot and asked for help and figured out how to fix it. It's working for now! Corbin had friends over for a sleepover and one of his friends put a dent in my wall. I worked on repairing that today. I'm the only parent that will host sleepovers and I know why, these dumb teenage boys are destructive. One of my sprinkler heads is broken so I need to figure out how to fix that. YouTube is my friend. This coming week I have a couple of work conferences. I'm actually looking forward to them because my weeks without my kids in the summer are long!
