Inside Out 2

This week has gone way too fast. My weeks with my kids fly by. I had another ultrasound last Monday and the baby is looking good! The hematoma is not healed but the doctor is not concerned at this time. He said I could resume exercising which made me very happy. Exercise is a big deal to me. I have graduated from the IVF clinic and I'm almost done with the extra shots and medications! I have an ultrasound tomorrow with my old OB who delivered my kids. I'm excited to have this reunion with him. Haha. Surprise, I'm back. I really hope things are okay and I can continue to exercise and have some normalcy. Fingers crossed.

We went to Inside Out 2 and went swimming at Gabe's house. Just usual summer things. My niece Brynn had a baby shower on Friday night and my sister Kelsey came over for it. We ended up going to the new Quiet Place movie that night and that was fun. Enjoy pics.

Her nickname is baby McGee. Her she is at 9 weeks. Cute!

We got free Italian ice for dressing up Hawaiian. Piper did not want to come and Gabby's friend Taegan came with us.

The picture doesn't do it justice but my flowers are really pretty!

Piper got braces!

Corbin went to McCall with Gabe and his boys for the weekend. He is living it up.

Crash! Whoops.

Cute!

Movie!

Kids made a fort of sorts. We watched the first Quiet Place movie. Piper lasted 5 minutes. She is not a scary movie girl. Ryan really liked it!

My friend Chelsey sent me a surrogacy package. Cutest.

Piper got a new bean bag.

Pillow fort.

Update

I don't have much to say. I headed to eastern Idaho for work conferences last Sunday. I stopped to chat with my parents for a few hours and I got to eat my favorite dinner of all time, "Sunday dinner." After that I headed to Rigby to Trisha's house. I had a 2 day conference at Rigby High School with other family consumer science teachers from the state. It was not my favorite. I am just not in the mood to care about school stuff in the summer but it was fun to be with some of my district teacher friends and fun to hang with Trisha. I was very happy it fell on a week when I'm bored without my kids. I had another 2 day professional development conference in Boise on Friday and Saturday. Again, not my favorite but glad to hang with colleagues and fill some of my boring time. I am very excited for my ultrasound tomorrow. Hopefully baby is doing well and my hematoma is healed. I HATE not being able to exercise SO much. Fingers crossed for tomorrow! I'm so excited to have my kids back tonight, it's like Christmas.

The classrooms at Rigby High are AMAZING!

Update

I had my 7 week ultrasound on Monday. The baby is measuring on track and has a good heartbeat. I discovered I have a sub chorionic hematoma which is a collection of blood in the uterine cavity. I guess this can be very common with IVF pregnancies, it likely occurred during the embryo transfer. It is small and the doctor is not concerned yet but it's unsettling for me for sure. I can't exercise until my next appointment on the 24th. Fingers crossed it will have resolved itself by then which commonly happens.

I had the kids this past week and we went to Discovery park a lot. Corbin got a new mountain bike so he's been taking that out for bike rides. He joined Centennial's mountain biking team so that will be interesting. Gabe was the one that got him interested in it so hopefully he will take the lead on helping Corbin get to the races. He's been enjoying it a lot.

The door leading into the garage door has been having problems and I kept tightening the hinges but it wasn't working. I took the door down and rather than try to get help from one of my brothers Corbin and I went to Home Depot and asked for help and figured out how to fix it. It's working for now! Corbin had friends over for a sleepover and one of his friends put a dent in my wall. I worked on repairing that today. I'm the only parent that will host sleepovers and I know why, these dumb teenage boys are destructive. One of my sprinkler heads is broken so I need to figure out how to fix that. YouTube is my friend. This coming week I have a couple of work conferences. I'm actually looking forward to them because my weeks without my kids in the summer are long!

Ryan is on the left, Corbin is on the right.

Gabby. (Piper was home sick)

We went to the new ice cream shop by our house. Yum!

There is a crack on the top left, the door was coming off its hinges.
This was not easy to hang back up. I hope it lasts!

I forgot to add a cup of flour, we are going to blame pregnancy brain.

Teenage boy damage.

Fixed as best I could.

Movie cuddles.

Update

There's not much to write about. Scott took the kids on a road trip to Canada so I was a little more anxious with them being away from home but they made it back safely on Friday. I was on Charly duty since they didn't want to cram Charly with them. It was nice to have a buddy for the week. I did a few cleaning projects and met up with friends and went on lots of walks and did a lot of reading. I'm trying hard to just relax and rest this summer but that is not my strong suit. I might not last. I think I want to make Corbin help me paint the garage. We will see if it comes to that point. I just got hit with nausea yesterday. It's reassuring but also terrible. I have an ultrasound tomorrow. Fingers crossed for a heart beat!

I went on a hike with my friend Shelly.

Charly pics!

Charly HATES going on walks. I tried to take her, forget about it.

Another Corbin mountain bike pic.

First Week of Summer

We had a great first week of summer. On Memorial Day we went over and had a BBQ with Gabe and Christy and Hart and Jory. On Tuesday I had another pregnancy blood test. They wanted my HCG number to be at least 2,000 and mine was almost 8,000. Baby seems to be doing well. June 10th will be my first ultrasound and hopefully there will be a heartbeat! I don't feel too pregnant yet except for maybe fatigue is hitting me. It's hard to know if that's life or pregnancy. I had a two day professional development Wednesday and Thursday. I didn't enjoy those classes but I signed up with a buddy, we got free lunch AND they paid us a stipend oh and I also earned 1 credit towards my recertification. Totally worth it! On Thursday while I was gone Gabby lead the 3 littles into a screen free day. They did an outdoor scavenger hunt where they drew their findings, they played games, and went to the park. That night they had a movie and a sleepover. Cuties. We went and celebrated Jory's 50th birthday at Discovery Park and boy oh boy is Ryan in heaven now. We've been to this park in the past but not recently and it has expanded! It's a great park and it's 5 minutes from our house. It has tennis courts, pickleball courts, baseball fields, splash pad and equipment, dog park, AND a skate park. Ryan has made me take him everyday since then. He loves to scooter forever there. Ryan said it's the best place that's free. Gabe came over and helped me take off my back porch light and switch it to an outlet for my decorative hanging lights. It was so awesome! I made Gabby help me hang the lights. Corbin got invited to McCall for the weekend to mountain bike and he has been in heaven. On Saturday night I told the kids we could go to dinner or get ice cream and Ryan and Gabby chose dinner and Piper chose ice cream. I had a coupon and saved $20 at the Mexican restaurant so that was yummy and awesome. Piper got a DQ blizzard for the first time. That night we had our first s'more party under our new lights. I love them!

Skate park!

Sleepover.

Picture scavenger hunt (my brother Gabe calls Ryan Roy for some reason and it's somehow sticking)

Burgers.
