Update

We stayed in Utah until Wednesday. Monday Scott and I spent the day car shopping. We did research online and then headed up to Ogden and picked up a van. It's 8 years newer than our old van. It's still old and might be a lemon. Fingers crossed. Tuesday was pioneer day and we swam in Sarah's pool (Clark's girlfriend). After that some of us went to Incredibles 2 and the rest went to Ant Man 2. We then had burgers with all the good stuff and Jeff's homemade peach ice cream. Yum! The fireworks show was especially intense as some of them sent out sparks farther than expected! On Wednesday the kids had one last hoorah and played on the slip and slide. We headed home and our "new" van drove really well.

Nothing much else has been going on since we've been back. I tried to teach as many classes as I could to make up for my vacation time. I've put in an application with two other companies and haven't heard back yet. The one company said they get hundreds of applications a day. I don't know if that's true but teaching ESL online is a popular gig. I just checked with the one company and an interview slot opened up tonight at 12:30 am. I don't think I can handle that especially since I'm getting up early to teach. Ugh. I think I'll keep hoping for another opening.

I took the kids to play at the river on Friday and we floated the ditch at DeMeyer park today. I can't believe it's almost August! Crazy.

Dinner at Milcreek.

Colie took these littles on an outing. She's a brave soul!

Carole and Gordon moved in with Colie and Rustin next door. Greta took a bath with my kids at Nana's house and needed to be taken home. After that Ryan asked if I could take him over to Colie's house in a taco (just like Greta). Ha. So I took Ryan over wrapped up as well. Ryan is sooo heavy! Ha.

Swim party.
Game time!

Slip-n-slide

 Bubble bath!

Our 2008 Toyota Sienna

My aunt posted this picture of my great grandmother Ada Doney Lowe Hart. I wanted to put it in here so Gabby could see who she was named after. I didn't initially give my girls middle names because I didn't have one but I changed my mind. I haven't officially changed their birth certificates yet but I plan to. We'll see if I do. Ha. Anyway I thought Ada went well with Gabrielle and plus she was a cool lady so it's a win win. Also Gabby looks more like my side of the family. I read that when my great grandpa proposed (12 years her senior) she said she was too young and wanted to go to school. He told her she could still go to school after she got married so she married him. She did end up taking a nursing course. She ended up moving to Salt Lake to finish it and had family help take care of her baby. She had another baby while she was going to school and ended up taking a sister with her to help her take care of her kids while she was in school. I thought that was fascinating! I love that she was able to do that.

Corbin found this giant dead fish at the river. Gross!

Dance!
