This week was busy. I tried to paint as much as possible. I don't have a big window since it's July in Boise and we are having over 100 degree temperatures. I also need to parent sometimes. I also started working at Target. I worked 3, 7-8 hour shifts Tues, Thurs, Saturday. I'm glad I heard that Target didn't train well because I was prepared for that. On my first shift on Tuesday I was with someone for about 20 minutes and then I was on my own the rest of the day. Luckily there were always people around that I could ask questions when I needed to...which was a lot. I still have a lot of things to figure out. Like a lot. Hopefully I will learn all the things soon. I'm feeling good overall. I had to clean carts on Saturday and that was not my favorite. The time really flew the first day when I was on the cash register and I loved that. The other days felt longer but it still went faster than when I was a para at Centennial. We will see how it goes. I'm hopeful that it will be a good fit for me.
Scott had to take the kids to the dentist and they only allowed one kid in at a time. He was in the car with the kids for 2 hours. Torture!
I went and helped the teacher I worked with at Centennial paint her classroom. It was a fun hang. I like those kind of hang outs. Ha.
I went to the river with a friend on Friday. I hadn't intended to get in but Corbin got in and immediately lost the tube and his flip flops. I decided to jump in and swim after them since they were in a slow spot. The good part of that was it helped me discover a great little stretch we could float. We will definitely be going back again.
It's been so hot that Scott built his garden box in our bedroom one night. He worked really hard today and got things planted in his new boxes.
We head out to the Oregon coast in 3 days! After all of this painting and now working at Target I am ready for a vaycay!

Clark's girlfriend Sarah bought all the Cannon men Hawaiian outfits for Father's Day. Ha. |

I just try to do small sections at a time. |

For the record Hannah painted the lighter color. She's not as meticulous as me. Ha. |

Floating the river. |

This was a great slow spot. |

There was also sand for the kids to play in. |

Waiting to see the dentist. |

Building the garden box in our room |

The finished boxes. Scott has the wood pieces to try to shade his poor plants. The heat! |

It's supposed to be pretty chilly at the Oregon coast so we bought some matching hoodies. I could fit in the girls section XL size. They were a great price plus I got my target discount on top of that! We are ready to go to the Oregon coast. |
