Thanksgiving Break

Wahoo and just like that I get a break again. This past week of school was good. One of my student's was like, "Ms. Cannon you are in a good mood, I think Mexico was good for you." Yes indeed Lola! The only bad part I caught a nasty cold last Sunday and was pretty sick all week. I probably should have stayed home for at least a day or two but I didn't want to after being gone for a week. I rested, drugged up and made it through. My nose was a faucet for two days at school which was annoying, painful, and gross.

I broke "the rules" and decorated my room for Christmas last week. It looks so good! Janet was home sick for four days last week so I got to stay in my room all day for four days. It was amazing, oh what it would be like to not share a classroom or 5. I had my students make their 2 day class project of creamy chicken noodle soup and corn bread muffins. Each kitchen has different tasks to make a class feast. It's fun and yummy but a ton of work.

I'm so excited to have a week off of work. The schedule is the best part of being a teacher, the breaks are SO NEEDED THOUGH, TEACHING IS A LOT! Can't wait to do nothing and anything I want this week! Woot.

I hand made those banners out of wrapping paper and ribbon for a ward party 10,000 years ago. It looks so cute in my room!

Cute tree!

Thanksgiving feast. My 2nd period gathered for their meal and said what they were thankful for.

Cute!

AHHH

Christmas is up at the house too! I love having a Christmas tree in my room SO much. Plus this tree is my tree with all of my handmade ornaments from my kids. I LOVE IT!
