Nana and Papa and Colie and Rustin came for the long weekend and Gabby's birthday as per tradition. They came up Friday night. They are staying at a very nearby Air B&B which has been nice and fun for the kiddos. Lots of gaming, puzzling, and eating are happening over here. These guys do a great job spoiling my kids and making them feel special.
I had a coffee date with an old co-worker. I think I talked her into getting her Master's at WGU. We were para's at Centennial together before Covid hit. Now she has her teaching degree and works at Victory Middle School. It was fun to catch up with her.
I will be busting out the sewing machines at school in one week. I'm nervous about that. This will be the first time I will try to have all of the students on the machines at once. It should be an adventure. They will be finishing up their children's stories this week. I am nervously anticipating that. I think I will be equal parts happy and disappointed. Haha. I just want my students to care about their work!
There was an extra bed at the Air B&B. Gabby taking it all in! |

I made buckets of treats. I could eat both of these by the bucket full! Cinnamon bear popcorn and white chocolate almond puffs...salty sweet goodness. |
The librarian taught my students for a day teaching them all about the importance of reading in child development. It was good! |
If I am feeling very brave I will attempt to have my students make this bag at school... |
