What a week! I can't believe I have to go to work tomorrow. It.will.be.rough. I physically could have gone back to work last week but I just treated myself to the week. It's been hard to be pregnant and working this new job and I'm milking this. The rest of the school year will still be challenging. I am figuring out a lot of new things and it's hard, but at least now I won't be 9 months pregnant while doing it. The kids wanted to stay with me again last week because I'm not working and it feels a little more relaxed and fun. Scott was flexible about switching the schedules so that was great. Now I won't have them for 2 weeks which will be long but at least I won't have them while I'm working and getting back into the swing of things versus while I'm at home doing nothing.
Roy and Ran really wanted to go to McCall to be in the snow and Gabe and Christy were gracious enough to let us crash a weekend at the cabin with them. The timing was not great because we've not had any snow and of course it snowed on Friday. I didn't think the drive would be bad on the way up but it was very bad. I think it's probably the longest I've had to drive on bad roads. It was scary and stressful. Luckily, no one crashed and died. I took the long way thinking it would be better but it was not. It was longer and still very bad. We only lasted less than 24 hours because McCall got hit with a severe weather warning 8-12 inches over the next couple of days starting at 5:00 pm Saturday night. We couldn't decide what to do but we all packed up and went home minus Gabe and a few skiing kids. He does not get worried driving on bad roads. Luckily the drive home was a dream with very little traffic and bare roads. It did snow last night and the roads are bad so we made the right decision. It was a short trip but it was still fun. My kids haven't gotten to play in any snow this year so it was fun for them to get out and play. I got tons of baby Shahar snuggles and the Israeli's saw snow and had a very short McCall vacay. Haha.

Charly was SO curious about Shahar. I wonder if she knows she was in my belly. Haha. |
