The Time Has Come

I can't believe it but the Israeli's leave tomorrow. I'm going to miss Shahar of course because she is a cute, perfect, squishy baby that I grew but I'm going to miss hanging out with Roy and Ran. We've gotten very close and we've been hanging out at least a few times a week for the past 7 weeks. Gabby has gotten close to Ori, she's the Ori whisperer. She can play and communicate with her even though she only speaks Hebrew. It's going to be sad. Christy already picked out a kitten for me to replace Shahar and I told her DO NOT BUY ME A CAT! Haha. So she better not. It's going to be interesting if we stay close, we have plans to visit each other. It will be interesting.

Work is going good. I like my classes and students a lot. I have my yearly formal evaluation on Tuesday and I will be happy to get that behind me.

Last Saturday I hosted a Galentine's breakfast. I made breakfast casserole, egg muffins, French toast roll ups (too annoying and switched to regular French toast), and crepes. It was so much food. It was really fun to catch up with some of my friends I don't see very often.

Yesterday we celebrated Gabby's birthday. Christy hosted and fed us and I made a cake. The kids went swimming. Gabby is 15, crazy!

The kids are little germ bags. I swear one or all of them have been sick the entire winter. What the crap? I'm not sure what that's all about. Scott is moving to Nampa in a few months so the kids are going to have to switch schools next year. I'm pretty upset about it and I'm not sure what we will figure out. I think it will take me a solid 1-2 hours to drop them off at a Nampa school and get to work in the morning. I want them to go to schools by my house. I'm pretty hell bent about Corbin finishing out his senior year at Centennial.  Anyway, that's next years problem but it's a stressful thought and something to figure out none the less.

Well, wish me luck tomorrow. It's going to be sad.

Piper crocheted this cute coffee/hot chocolate mug.
